Viktoria Denisova, a PhD student and intern researcher, took part in the XVI All-Russian Conference "Topical Aspects of Modern Psychophysiology" and the II Forum of Psychophysiologists, St. Petersburg, August 24-25, 2024.

Viktoria Denisova gave a talk on the topic of "Identifying Logic in the Reasoning of a Client with Depression within Cognitive Behavioral Therapy" that was devoted to substantiating the difference between logical error, error in reasoning and cognitive distortion. Viktoria gave examples demonstrating the way the reconstruction of the logic structure of the client's automatic thoughts helps to identify logical errors and cognitive distortions underlying depressive thinking patterns.
