Vitaly Dolgorukov's article "Alternatives to Kripke Semantics for Epistemic Logic" was published in the journal "Logical Investigations".

Abstract
The article discusses the difficulties caused by the employment of standard Kripke semantics for the analysis of epistemic scenarios: the presence in the model of possible worlds indistinguishable by any formula; combinatorial explosion (exponential growth of the set of possible worlds with linear complication of the scenario); hyperspecification of the proposed model of the initial epistemic scenario. Alternative variants of the construction of epistemic logic are considered, which seek to overcome these difficulties: the semantics of knowledge structures and syntactic epistemic logic, and an approach to the construction of diagrammatic epistemic logic is also proposed.
