Viktoriia Denisova spoke at CBT FORUM 2026 and presented the monograph “Philosophy and CBT”, co-authored with Dmitry Kovpak

On May 16, Viktoriia Denisova took part in the international CBT FORUM 2026 with a joint presentation alongside Dmitry Viktorovich Kovpak, MD, PhD (Candidate of Medical Sciences), Associate Professor at the Department of Psychotherapy, Medical Psychology, and Sexology at the I. I. Mechnikov North-Western State Medical University (St. Petersburg). Their talk was titled “Philosophy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.”

The presentation was intercontinental: Viktoriia spoke from Brazil, where she is conducting her dissertation research under the supervision of Fabio Bertato, while Dmitry Viktorovich presented from St. Petersburg. As part of the session, Viktoriia delivered an online talk titled “Philosophy as a Foundation of Rationality in CBT,” focusing on the philosophical underpinnings of cognitive behavioral therapy.

During the forum, the co-authored monograph by Viktoriia Denisova and Dmitry Kovpak, “Philosophy and CBT,” was also presented. Congratulations to Viktoriia on the publication of the monograph!
